H&C SOLAR PROJECT

Project data: The SOLAR H&C project, in which AZCATEC TECNOLOGIA E INGENIERIA, S.L. participates, has received financial support from CDTI in the Regional Cooperation in R&D (Feder-Innterconnect) 2016 call.

The project titled “Air conditioning system with renewable energies, using innovative storage with high thermal capacity and low melting point, integrable in any type of installation with air conditioning needs”, and in which 4 companies participate, PROYECTOS E IMPLANTACIÓN DE TUBERIAS, S.L. , AZCATEC TECNOLOGIA E INGENIERIA, S.L., FERTIBERIA, S.A. and PROCAVI S.L., seeks to develop a solution to increase the efficiency and reduce the costs of medium temperature solar thermal installations through the redesign of the technologies involved for the thermal conditioning of spaces in the large residential, tertiary and industrial sectors.

To this end, a pilot plant will be built with a flexible configuration of operating modes supported by an I&C infrastructure that will allow studying the behavior of the system, increasing its stability and ease of integration with existing systems, as well as reducing operation and maintenance costs. and its automation to be operated by non-technical personnel.

The SOLAR H&C project has been subsidized by the CDTI, supported by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and co-financed with Structural Funds of the European Union.
